One of the coolest things was on my very first day i didn't know we had to wear black socks and so the arena manager at our castle is trying to help me find some and we're considering our options to the point where i ended up borrowing black socks from one of the knights and it was just really cool how everyone worked together to help out this one new guy in the serving department.Īs far as a rude people they generally fall into one of three categories and i'll explain how i deal with each

So far the one of the weirdest things was when i was in training i received 5 coupons as a tip instead of real money. I've talked to a few of the knights but there isn't much overlap between the show cast and the arena staff. You don't notice the smell of horse crap after a while so don't worry too much about that aspect. It's definitely a great job and i highly recommend it. It's definitely easier in some senses than any other serving job but its also difficult because you have to carry around 50 pounds of food under your arm quite frequently and it'll more than likely leave a small bruise. I personally think its great, it's a simple and fun job.
